We are delighted to invite you to submit abstracts for the upcoming 36th Alzheimer Europe Conference (#36AEC), which will take place in Dublin, Ireland, under the banner:

 

Sláinte: Building momentum in dementia through policy, research and partnership 

 

The conference will take place between 27 and 29 October 2026 at the Conference Centre Dublin.

 

 

Call for abstracts now open!

 

Alzheimer Europe and the Alzheimer Society of Ireland are calling for abstracts for oral and poster presentations on the following subjects:

Bursary for early stage researchers

 

The Alzheimer Europe Foundation is collaborating with the INTERDEM Academy to award ten bursaries of EUR 1,000 for early stage researchers wishing to attend and present at the Alzheimer Europe Conference. We are looking for “Dementia researchers of the future” willing to share their work and research on “Innovative approaches to dementia”.

 

Please submit your application for one of these bursaries by sending in your abstract and a short bio by 30 April 2026 via the abstract submission portal under the topic “Dementia researchers of the future – Innovative approaches to dementia”.

Early bird registration to open on 28 February 2026!
 
Delegates will be able to benefit from the Early bird registration between 28 February and 30 June 2026. Standard registration will then be available until 27 October 2026. A reminder will be sent out closer to the registration opening date.
