8 February: Alzheimer Europe signs new Operating Grant agreement with EU disability programme

On 8 February 2022, Alzheimer Europe signed a Grant Agreement with the European Commission under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme, which will allow the organisation to continue its work making dementia a policy priority in Europe.

14 February: Alzheimer Europe has three open positions!

Alzheimer Europe is looking to fill three full-time Luxembourg-based positions: A Project Officer for Public Involvement, a Project Officer for risk prediction, artificial intelligence and data governance, and an Administrative Assistant. All positions are full-time, permanent, and the closing date is 13 March 2022.

25 February: Alzheimer Europe launches new report on sex, gender and sexuality in the context of dementia

On 25 February 2022, Alzheimer Europe launched a new report: “Sex, gender and sexuality in the context of dementia: a discussion paper”. Our aim, in this report, was to promote the right of every person with dementia, irrespective of their sex, gender identity and sexual orientation, to be treated with respect and to have access to timely diagnosis, treatment and good quality care and support.
