On the occasion of the 60^th anniversary of the European Union (EU), The Lancet journal published an excellent editorial, looking at achievements in the area of public health as well as some areas for improvement.

On 6 April, we published the 24^th edition of our “Dementia in Europe” magazine, containing European policy news and other dementia-related news, news about Alzheimer Europe and its activities and a special section on 26AEC.

AMYPAD is proud to announce the official launch of its website, targeting different audiences including the scientific community, policymakers, carers and people with dementia.

AE, along with 14 other civil society organisations has sent a letter sent a letter to the Commission and the Council, drawing attention to some important aspects to be considered with regards the post-Brexit relocation of the European Medicines' Agency (EMA).

The Commission has released the European Pillar of Social Rights, in the form of a recommendation listing twenty key principles for driving the future of the EU's social policy agenda.

The call for abstracts for the 27^th Alzheimer Europe Conference (27AEC) is now closed for all sessions apart from those in German. The call for abstracts for the German sessions will remain open until 26 April.
